Allen and Son Moving and Storage is a highly trusted moving company with several locations all over the United States. It was founded back in 1991 by Allen Burrus who borrowed $500 to buy a truck and start the business. The son was just 15 at the time and together, they completed their first local residential move for $60. Since then, business has grown dramatically and now, they have offices in several cities across the US. As a testament to their high quality service, they are proud to have been the recipient of multiple awards over the years, including the Community Merchant of the Year given by the New Park Heights Community Development Corporation in 2012, Moving and Storage of the Year given by the American Minority Contractors in 2010 and the Community Award for Creating Jobs given by the Maryland House of Delegates in 2012.
